Cookie and Browser Storage Policy
Effective · Version 1.0
1. Essential Browser Storage
Gold AH uses essential browser storage mechanisms to authenticate member sessions, verify CSRF tokens, and maintain interface preferences on behalf of AH Gold LLC.
2. Authentication Session Storage
When an authenticated member signs in, a cryptographically signed session token is stored in the browser’s sessionStorage under the key gold-ah-member-session. This token is cleared immediately upon logout or browser tab closure.
3. Interface & Dark Mode Preferences
Theme selections, display configurations, and your market watchlist and recently viewed pairs are persisted in localStorage. These entries contain zero personal identifying data and are never shared with external tracking networks.
4. Identity Verification & Alerts
During identity verification we keep a random device identifier in localStorage to help detect fraud. If you turn on push alerts, the browser also stores your push notification token and the data our push notification provider needs to deliver alerts. Turning alerts off removes the token.
Gold AH does not use advertising, analytics, or third-party tracking cookies.
5. Managing Storage Settings
You can configure your browser to block or purge storage tokens. However, because session storage is strictly necessary for authenticated financial transactions, disabling storage will prevent you from signing in to the member application.
